When a new caller enters a queue it will trigger both visual and audio alerts to all members of the queue that are logged into the Call Manager Portal.
Visual Alert
A CallerID display window will appear in the bottom right hand corner of the Queue Member Board. This will display the full CallerID, if available, of the caller and which queue the caller is in. Each time a call is sent from the queue, this alert will appear so the member always knows who the caller is.
Audio Alert
When a new caller enters the queue an audio alert will announce how many callers are waiting in the queue. The announcement is "There are X callers in the <QUEUE NAME> queue.". It does not announce each time a caller is ringing members.
